The Cambridge Academy Cougar Club fosters and supports the school's athletes and coaches by assisting with the organization and presentation of athletic events, encouraging sportsmanship, and encouraging participation from the Cambridge family. A large majority of our Middle and Upper School students participate in at least one sport, and, as you may imagine, the funds allocated for the athletic budget does not meet all the needs of our students. The Cougar Club works hard to bridge that gap so that our teams and individual athletes have the equipment, supplies and support which are needed to provide a safe and competitive playing field.
Cougar Club members volunteer at events by announcing, scorekeeping, manning the ticket tables, and stocking the concessions stands. The Cougar Club also promotes fundraising activities throughout the year including the 50/50 raffle, the Firecracker 5K 4th of July race, and other events.
